It is with great sadness that I heard the news that the former British World Rally Champion, Colin McRae, and his young son died in a helicopter accident over the weekend. Colin was only 39 years old and was an amazing ambassador for the sport of rallying.

I was fortunate enough to have met Colin twice, and on each occasion he was kind and friendly, pausing to sign autographs for both myself and the many kids hanging around.

He was a true gentleman and sportsman and the world will miss him very much. My condolences go to his family on this very sad day.

The above picture was unbelievably hard to get. I had to crouch down on the floor and try and put my eye the eye piece of my camera. Anyway, I just love the detail in the architecture of this building - I believe it is called the “Dong ah Ilbo Building”. You can see more of my “Seoul By Night pictures by clicking here

Also for all you guys who have make telephone calls abroad check out this Korean website (sorry this is for the Korean readers of this blog) - basically you dial the number 1600 0030 and then after the nice sounding Korean woman finishes speaking you type in the number you want including the international code for the country you are dialing. When you finish dialing you type the key ♯- and there you have it. All you pay is the cost of a local call - click here for more details.
