The above picture is of one of my wonderful level 5 students “Cecilia” She’s wonderful and outgoing and is doing really well with her English.

Coming soon (1st May) I shall be launching a redesign of my website and included in the redesign will be a comprehensive English language resource room called “English Tutor” - this will be a flash based website that will allow you to do quick 10 minute lessons related to different parts of learning English.
Here’s a quick sample
I have heard people saying the date like “I going away on the threeth of April” and the “twoth of May” To correct this … and to give you a quick hint of what is coming on my Re-designed website (launch date - 1st May 200
here is the correct way to say the date:
1 = First (as in the first of May)
2 = Second (as in the second of May)
3 = Third (as in the third of May)
numbers like 21, 22 and 23 are pronounced Twenty-first, twenty-second and twenty-third - and this is the same for the thirties.
I hope that you find this useful ![]()
Here’s a fantastic business English podcast for all you students out there who have an interest in business AND English language.

One of the worst phrases to come in to the English language in recent years is the phrase “Wassup?”
This comes from the original phrase “what’s up?” - this phrase is a slang term and extremely informal and shouldn’t be used in a normal conversation and only with close friends.
To show you the origins of this terrible phrase see the original Budweiser TV commercial below.

Ok, for all of my English students who think putting a number of sentences together is very difficult in English, then stop worrying!!!!. Below is a video of a famous British politician called Boris Johnson.
Boris is the kind of person who makes politics interesting and entertaining.
Watch this clip and you will realise that even native speakers have difficulty putting sentences together ^^
